exciting..and a great three day weekend ahead..

i know i pretty much failed at my goals for getting this website up

but i have made it up with plenty of pics

i have still not yet transitioned into becoming comfortably awake at 6:30 AM

and i am desiring a tremendous amount of sleep

although its not that i have been lacking rest, one can not make up hours of sleep anyways..

i think its time to give into the coffee/college student persona

tea aint cuttin it..

although i’ve gone this entire week without listening to my ipod on the bus

its been traded in for my camera

foundations was fun today, not that its not fun everyday (if youre reading this ruthie)

we rode the bus from convention place to chinatown through the tunnel as we made gesture drawings of the people we saw on the bus, the clothing they wore, and anything specific that stood out to us for the cluster were working on. drawing is always cool, i hope it becomes an ongoing theme of this semester

after foundations, i had another 4 1/2 hour brake until my next class..of which i spent 1/2 in the cafe, 2 in the library, 1 at 24 hour fitness, and 1 at the orion center..where i still remain undefeated in pool

the colors are amazing, the depth of field is so shallow its sexy, the size and weight are minimal to fit in my bag, and the speed is remarkable in low light situations

and its wide enough for just about anything

the second day of the semester, the first day of life drawing

im excited for this class, not for the naked people

ive never been taught how to draw formally so this will be a chance to get my shit straight

the teacher seems cool too, although i cannot conclude this yet

not only that, but this is the epitamy of art school, that is, when i think of art school

but an entire classroom

all concentrating on getting the penis proportion right (just kidding)

how much pressure is on that person? i couldnt imagine, i mean you have to be really, really, really comfortable with yourself to do that

i cant even do it with my clothes on

but hey, atleast i know that much about the person

and ill get to make many more notions about that person as i deconstruct them

anyways, we got out early because there was nothing really to do after the syllabus review

so i chilled downtown, im trying to get to know this place a little better

because the space chances throughout the day, i want to make an opportunity of having these long breaks

i ran into khelil too, it seems im always running into this guy..

4 hours later, saul picks me up infront of sephora and we head to red mill for some burger

i grab the bleu cheese bacon burger (my favorite)

everytime i go there, im proud, proud that this place is on the top 20 burger joints in america in GQ,with that issues cover being Jessica Simpson in an american flag two piece bathing suit..does it get much better than that?

then we head to EVO gear and i found the perfect camera bag

woke up, played fight night, hit up vincent, vincent came over, drove to jefferson cc, met up with oscar and j-ar, drove to beacon hill shells (best deli in the city), grabbed gizards, garlic drummettes, and arizona ice tea, drove to jensens, kicked it, hot boxed the car, went to the mall, instead of going to the mall we went back to shells, drove to red apple (few blocks down!), drove to mlk, lost joe’s car, drove along mlk til we hit skyway, drove around skyway, drove to my house, tried to play fight night but brother was playing it, finally got to the mall, hot boxed the car again, j-ar bought some gifts, walked around while everyone else in the party was “at church”, left the mall, and finally got dropped off at home…today was reminiscent of last summer, didnt matter where you were going or what you were doing as long as you had good people with you…and gas is hella cheaper..

Today…

ive been at home all weekend catching up on naruto..i finally finished today

ive been playing alot of video games too

it seems like whenever im on a break, i take it as a full on opportunity to transform into an anime-watching, korean music listening, video game playing, top ramen fiending bum..aka me in middle school ): (i need to change this now!!!)

but i wasnt totally lazy today

i went for a walk out in the snow (what was left) with my camera hoping to find the allentown sasquatch that had been spotted earlier this week

but i was left with these black and white photos of what i like to take pictures of on my spare time (mailboxes, fences, and roads..im hoping to start a magazine called  “mailboxes, fences, and roads” one day)

its 93 again!!

I dont remember shit from 93, but ive always heard about 93 in seattle

and with the recession in full effect (or not…yet) alot of shit has been going down in south and central seattle

well thats what i hear anways..you know i keep my ears open for these things, i gotta stay hip to it!! haha

with the recent shooting in southcenter and the many more (which you dont hear about) in south seattle/skyway

unless you hear the gunshots and see the skid marks for yourself, thankfully i dont

the recession is hitting hard, people are stealing from friends, friends stealing from people..its getting outta hand..and i cant convince myself to pay $5 for a roll of sushi anymore.

just tellin you all to be safe out there! and if there are any dead dogs and white people dead on the road, i know who did it! BRRRRRRRAT!!

on another note, lets talk about music…lets talk about hip hop

linked up with nam and khingz yesterday night after my last class had ended, still trying to get the taste of carrot juice out of my mouth, but not being able to convince myself that i had to buy water. ive never been down with buying water! so i hit up khelil right after i got out of the tunnel, asked him if he wanted to meet up and take some photos in chinatown (i miss this place) since he lives like 5 minutes from it via bus tunnel. Headed straight for the waji (uwajimaya) and for some damn reason i spent 10 minutes looking at the sushi!!!! the price goes down after 6, because then its not fresh anymore..it gets below the $5 point, which i can do..not because im budgeting (probably it) but because i can now excuse myself as being a victim of the recession, i cant eat fresh sushi nomo, the current economy got me eating discount sushi (wtf!!)

and why did it take 10 minutes for khelil to get there when he lives 5 minutes away? i dont know..its probably because he was trying to look hella fresh for the photos, rockin that handmade wool jacket made by JILLTHY (his girlfriend)

damn jills, what do i gotta do to get one of those? pleeaaaaaasse!!!!!!

we then started conversing in a thug like manner, peepin what’s currently in and out in japanese culture, checking out the free shit they give away with their magazines (although theyre $10+ magazine, were basically payin for it), then talking about how fresh this iz and that iz, then trying to imitate it with US brands because we dont get filthy shit like they do in japan..
